Ethan Merklein

Ethan Merklein is from Chapel Hill, NC, and will receive a BS in Industrial Design in 2025 from Appalachian State University. He enjoys learning how things work and intends to work in an industry where he can improve others’ lives. He has worked as a bicycle mechanic, building engineer, and property manager, where he appreciates physically working with his hands. Ethan also recently exhibited a project at ICFF and Designblok in 2024, and studied abroad in Prague in 2023.
